Cello - In your rooms

After graduating with Honours from the Guildhall, where he studied cello with Stefan Popov and Melissa Phelps and chamber music with members of the Takacs and Borodin string quartets, Christopher joined the critically acclaimed string septet, the gogmagogs, performing with them at the Sydney Festival, the City of London Festival, the Du Maurier World Stage Festival in Toronto, in New York and the USA and across the world.

Chris has broadcast live in the UK, the Czech Republic and in Brussels as solo cellist for pianist and composer Mike Westbrook, and currently works as a freelance cellist and chamber musician (Chamber Music Company, Chroma, Le Page Ensemble, Rothko String Trio). Recent recordings include a disc of the Goldberg Variations with the Le Page Ensemble.

Christopher works regularly with the acclaimed Italian mime artist Oscar Valsecchi.
