Born into a highly musical family, Ed enthusiastically took to the drums when presented with his first drum-kit aged 3. Ed's music tuition continued through his school years leading to two years at the Academy of Contemporary Music, where he was taught by drumming stalwarts such as Pete Riley and Richard Brook.  Whilst at the ACM and thereafter in London and Brighton, where he is now based, Ed has performed in several bands, playing a diverse range of musical genres from hip hop, rock and heavy metal through to Jazz and has received much radio play in recent years.

Ed joined Hofesh Shechter Company in March 2010.
