Joel Harries is a 21 year old musician from Northampton. After spending his teens playing in every band that would have him it became apparent that it was all he wanted to do with his time. After finishing his A-levels he decided against university education and began to write material and tour with various groups. In early 2009 an opportunity arose to work with Hofesh Shechter Company on The Choreographer’s Cut production at the Roundhouse, London and he jumped at the chance to take part. He considers himself incredibly lucky to be able to live his life the way he does.

Joel joined Hofesh Shechter Company as a musician for Political Mother in March 2010.
