Hofesh Shechter’s Political Mother was declared an audio visual marvel (Daily Telegraph) after its premiere in 2010. For Political Mother: The Choreographer’s Cut,Shechter has revamped and reworked it into a bigger, louder work of an unforgettable force.
This October, 40 dancers and musicians will rock one of London’s most iconic music venues, as Shechter’s smash hit show returns to the capital for one last time.
Brimming with gritty and emotional complexity, this extraordinary dance work meets rock gig is an experience like no other.
The piece, which has wowed audiences from Paris to Hong Kong, will be performed with a live band of international musicians – guitarists, drummers and strings – alongside the masterful dancers of Hofesh Shechter Company.
