Sita Ostheimer

Born in Germany in 1980 Sita started her training at Dr. Hoch's Konservatorium and then attended the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt. During this time Sita performed at the Staatstheater Ballet Wiesbaden (Ben Van Cauwenbergh) and was a dancer in several different operas at the Alte Oper Frankfurt. On graduating in 2001, Sita joined the Oldenburgisches Staatstheater MS Schrittmacher Company under the direction of Martin Stiefermann with whom she danced for 4 years. During this period she also worked with Roni Haver & Guy Vaizman, Kevin O'Day (Mannheim) and Tamas Juronics (Hungary). Subsequently Sita spent 2 years with Galili Dance based in Groningen, Holland and choreographed  a work for the Galili marathon in 2007 before joining Krizstina de Chatel in Amsterdam where she worked on the dramaturgy for the work Sub Way (Corneliu Ganea), which took place at the Stuka festival in Amsterdam. Sita joined Hofesh Shechter Company in June 2008.
