Tony Birch

Sound Designer

Born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, Tony toured for years on the rock and roll circuit with a range of artists from The Killers to Willie Nelson, Shlomo to Venom. His work through RNSS led him away from the band scene and on to mix major orchestral productions with the London Philharmonia, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra amongst others. He works regularly on productions at the Southbank Centre and every so often nips back to do ridiculously loud metal bands in the back rooms of pubs.

Tony joined Hofesh Shecther Company in June 2009 and a love for shows sounding big and epic led him to be invited to design the sound for Political Mother.
